Pictoplasma inspired

Went to the Pictoplasma NYC lectures in New York on Saturday which was funny and inspiring. Here’s a little ode to all the fun I had.

2 dots + curvy line +/- a burger = awesome

I have been bad…

So very bad about updating. I’ve been taking a storytelling class and have been putting together a mini-comic of sorts. I scanned in a few images to show here yesterday but I totally forgot… I will upload tonight!

Here is a random drawing instead. It’s a dragon! Being fed! By a ninja/knight!

Beatles Comeback

Well, it wasn’t meant to be and I lost the Chopsticks contest. One door closes and another one will open right? I’m not too upset. It was a good try.

I downloaded an app called Sprite Something for the iPad and have been making animations with it .You’re meant to make game sprites but I export the files onto photoshop- blow up the pixels- and then make those pixels dance instead.

Breakfast for Three

A stranger walking behind me on the street was talking to his friend about how he wanted to feel satisfaction by the end of his life. He’s never satisfied with his job or love or anything.
I wish I could have followed their conversation to see what his friend said but the ice cream truck was calling my name at the corner.

This is how I feel about satisfaction though. The grass is always somehow greener on the other side. Eat ice cream instead of thinking too hard about it.

IPAD updates

I’ve had my iPad for almost 2 months now and I love the Brushes program more than anything else on there. To be able to have to make so much from such a restrictive interface is challenging but also very rewarding. Do I sound like a drone? Hehe

I draw comics, design sites, screen print and make books. Here's where I log my process, woes, and successes for you and for me.
